Description:

Macrozoobenthos specialist in projects on environmental impact assessment of investments in the Polish marine waters

Responsibilities:

  • Quality verification of environmental data collected
  • Analysis and interpretation of environmental data
  • Writing reports (e.g., on environmental surveys, input to EIA report)

Requirements:

  • Graduate in natural science (e.g., oceanography, environmental protection, biology)
  • Knowledge on biology and ecology of macrozoobenthos of the Baltic Sea
  • Knowledge on macrozoobenthos survey methods and methods of valorization
  • Proven experience in marine environmental surveys and analysis of data (minimum 3 projects)
  • Ability to communicate in written and oral English
  • Conscientious and timely execution of assigned tasks
  • Ability to take a creative approach to completing assigned tasks

Welcomed:

  • PhD degree in the field of natural sciences
  • Authorship of scientific and/or popular science publications
  • Practical ability to operate in GIS environment programs
