Description

Leading projects focusing on environmental and social compliance in the field of renewables. Delivering independent advisory to lenders, leading a group of in-house consultants on independent projects in line with up to date requirements and performance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading of environmental and social policies area
  • Networking with key stakeholders, updating standards and compliance
  • Project management and participation in the environmental and social due diligance (ESDD) of RES projects (category A or B) for IFIs, EBRD, World Bank, EIB, Equator Principles FI, etc. and during M&A processes
  • Conducting “GAP” analyses with dedicated conclusions and tailored made recommendations
  • Supervising supplemental studies and project summary documents to be disclose
  • Advisory on social and stakeholders’ requirements
  • Environmental and social action plan drafting or execution
  • Participation in periodic environmental and social reporting during construction and operation of RES projects

Requirements:

  • Graduate in environmental engineering, environmental protection, renewable energy or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (ESDD)
  • Proven portfolio of EBRD / EIB / Equator Principles projects
  • Experience in projects category A
  • Fluent Polish and advanced English at a level that allows communication in speech and writing (working with English-language documentation and foreign clients)
  • Knowledge of dedicated legislation, current standards and requirements of institutional/finan-cial stakeholders of RES projects
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office 365 and MS Sharepoint environment

Welcomed:

  • Experience in the RES industry (wind energy, large-scale photovoltaics, power-to-X projects, energy storage, grid investments)

  • Experience from other EU countries (especially CEE, Baltics, UA)
