Description

Supporting the tasks of the Biodiversity and Environmental Survey Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and analysis of environmental data
  • Support in the development of methods and environmental survey reports
  • Carrying out independent tasks (editing of documents and reports, printing of reports)
  • Data search and desk research
  • Cooperation with Chief Delivery Officer, Senior Surveys & Biodiversity Consultant, GIS Ana-lyst, Biodiversity Consultant
  • Familiarisation with the features of the renewable energy sources (RES) industry, guidelines, legal acts, Ambiens study templates, good environmental practice

Requirements:

  • Final-year students in in biology, environmental protection or related studies
  • English to the extent necessary for verbal and written communication
  • Practical skills in using MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ambition, willingness to learn and interest in employment in the long term (we plan to offer a continuing employment contract to selected individuals)

Welcomed:

  • Knowledge of the ecology of domestic fauna and flora species
  • Skill in identifying domestic fauna and flora species
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation
  • Practical skills in using QGIS software
  • Skill in analysing bat echolocation recordings
  • Interest in line with Ambiens’ profile (RES, sustainability, climate change, environmental protec-tion, etc.)
