Description:

Carrying out nature inventories and environmental monitoring for planned and existing RES installations (wind and photovoltaic farms).

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting field surveys of the animal and plant groups declared by the candidate (priority groups: birds, bats; protected plant species and Natura 2000 habitats)
  • Submitting data collected during surveys via shared folders and forms on the Ambiens drive

Requirements:

  • Experience in fieldwork related to nature inventories and/or monitoring
  • Own equipment necessary to conduct fieldwork, i.e. GPS, optical equipment (camera, binoculars, spotting scope), ultrasonic detector
  • Ability to identify Polish groups of species and habitats declared by the candidate
  • Willingness to work in the field, availability
  • Driving licence and own car
  • Very good work organisation, reliability, independence and timeliness

Welcomed:

  • Knowledge of national and EU nature and species protection regulations
  • Knowledge of inventory and methodological guidelines for the selected group of organisms
  • Basic knowledge of organism groups other than those declared
  • Ability to use QGIS
  • Skill and passion for taking nature photographs
