We have established wide cooperation with confidential nordic renewables Client.
Framework agreement covers:
– environmental and social due diligence with ESAP drafting (project finance, FID)
– GAP’s Analysis and suplemental studies (e.g. NTS, SEP, LRP, ESMP, etc.)
– environmental / permitting due diligence with “red flags” and recommendations (M&A)
– preliminary site assessment (micrositing, initial layout design)
– environmental impact assessment
Above scope of Ambiens involvement relates to wind energy, photovoltaics, RES projects, energy storage facilities.
We have just finished another due diligence project for renewable power plant. This time high level review of large scale photovoltaic project under development was addressed to Baltics’ energy firm in M&A process.
Ambiens’ experience from offshore wind and more broadly from 15 years of wind energy activities, also onshore, is valuable and often used in the context of strategic consultancy or when auditing work in progress. Therefore, Ambiens carries out Permitting Advisory activities in offshore wind energy – advice on permitting in the process leading up to a decision on the environmental conditions of a project (DEC).
Environmental impact assessment is one of the key stages in the development of any offshore wind farm. However, today in Poland, for the 11 projects in phase II, it takes on special significance. It is the environmental decision that is to be one of the 3 key passes to the CfD auction, among the 9 required by the Offshore Act.
We obtained two more environmental decisions for large-scale photovoltaics:
- 110MW pomorskie, RDOŚ Gdańsk
- 90MW zachodniopomorskie, RDOŚ Szczecin
We have completed another due diligence project in RES acquisitions for Scatec. Advisory in this area is a part of Ambiens’ core business.
We have started cooperation with GreenArt. In accordance with the maxim, the company treats the entrusted assets with the utmost care and meticulousness, while making the greatest efforts to maximize their efficiency. This approach is in line with Ambiens’ mission and our priorities.
We have developed methodologies for monitoring and research work for wind farms in forests in Poland. Identification of all key areas of the environment in relation to the specifics of the investment and its potential impacts allowed us to develop detailed guidelines for individual components.
We have obtained environmental decision for large-scale PV. 120MW photovoltaic project is being developed by Eurowind Energy A/S in West Pomeranian Voivodeship (RDEP Szczecin). We are happy are proud of another successful environmental impact assessment (EIA). Well done Ambiens Team.
National Reconstruction Plan (NRP) in Poland is a complex development strategy program after Covid pandemic. It follows the Recovery and Resilience Facility – RRF and lists Energy as one of the main areas. The document approved by the Council of Ministers was sent to the European Commission.
