We have developed methodologies for monitoring and research work for wind farms in forests in Poland. Identification of all key areas of the environment in relation to the specifics of the investment and its potential impacts allowed us to develop detailed guidelines for individual components.

In this project, we holistically drew on Ambiens’ 14 years of experience with onshore energy in Poland, both from the environmental impact assessment stage and post-implementation work verifying the assumptions of environmental decisions. Practical tips from markets already successfully operating wind farms in forested areas (Germany, Scandinavia) were also extremely valuable. Local cooperation is also very important to better understand the area and plan research methods.

The above gives us a unique competence not only to plan studies and implement environmental assessments, but also to prequalify and evaluate and ultimately select new areas for the development of subsequent projects.
