We are launching another wind greenfield in the Ambiens portfolio. Our new partner is a company we know very well – Sevivon.
Sevivon, a company owned by WKN GmbH of the PNE AG Group, developed the Jasna 132MW wind farm in the “ready to build” formula, where Ambiens working today on behalf of the Investor Windfarm Poland III / Stadtwerke München is responsible for the implementation of obligations resulting from the environmental decision and communication with the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Gdansk.
In Poland, Sevivon has completed wind farms with a total capacity of over 380MW since 2000. The Group has globally commissioned or sold over 2.2GW, with its first realisations dating back to 1994.
As part of the established cooperation, we are primarily responsible for Site Assessment. This is one of our flagship products, where we analyse 21 criteria, based on current regulations, industry practices and Ambiens’ experience. It is the foundation of layout, permitting, site acquisition, urban planning and strategy, including possible project phasing. Further to this, our responsibilities include field monitoring work and environmental impact assessment.
Michal Kaczerowski, Ambiens CEO: We have had hands-on experience with Sevivon since 2020 when they handed over Jasna to the investor, but also a little bit to us in terms of our responsibility. I knew that wind was a team effort, but Holger Gallas showed us all what a change of watch should look like. I am happy that today our teams can work together.
