Scotland’s beautiful capital city of Edinburgh hosted the first international Marine Mammal Mitigation & Monitoring Conference on 07.09.2024, organized by the Marine Mammals Observer Association (MMOA) and the Institute of Marine Engineering Science (IMarEST), in which we as a company had the pleasure to participate, represented by Kinga Dobosz.

Important for large-scale future RES projects is the provision of financiers to enable the investment. Funds as well as capital banks that participate in project financing require several documents to ensure that the planned investment is prepared with the highest standards.

Since the launch of the Ambiens brand, the company’s competence has been based on people, their experiences but also their willingness to adapt and constantly learn. This is especially the case today, when the expanded Team with appetite, but also humility further wants to ambitiously meet the needs of the market and together with faith do things that are important and necessary.

Last week the wind industry in Poland had its annual celebration. It was a unique event, the Association celebrated its 25th anniversary, the event was held in a new venue, the first time after the change in parliamentary power. The record number of participants gave a great atmosphere, interesting panel discussions and endless backstage talks.

Activities aiming at the protection of the environment during development of wind farm project must meet the expectations not only of the reviewing and agreeing authorities, but also of the funds and banks involved. At Ambiens, we analyze the provisions of the environmental decisions (EDs) for wind projects in Poland and advise on how to effectively implement them and integrate with the requirements of financing institutions in the process of preparing the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) – a document that is an integral part of the agreement between developer and lenders https://ambiens.pl/blog/ambiens-for-baltic-power-financing-of-the-first-offshore-wind-farm-in-poland/

Monika Gąsior has worked at Ambiens as a GIS Analyst for more than 6 years.

Why so long?

I like stability, certainty, peace and quiet, and I find that in Ambiens, and at the same time I have the opportunity to develop here, there are constantly new challenges, we work on the most complex RES projects in Poland, so it is impossible to get bored.

Continuing the development of competence in wind energy in the Baltic Sea region and cooperation with our neighbors, we are pleased to announce that we have joined the Polish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce.

The aim of the Chamber is not only to bring in investment and remove barriers for cooperating companies in Poland and Lithuania, but also to exchange knowledge and experience between its members, a perfect example of which was our first cooperation in connection with last year’s Energy Forum in Vilnius, during which Michał Kaczerowski, CEO of Ambiens, acted as a speaker.

We are pleased to announce next extension of our involvement with DIF Capital Partners, a global leading infrastructure fund manager.

Mutual understanding and the satisfaction of working together have resulted in another project in which the Ambiens Team will be responsible for the process of preparing the methodology, carrying out post-implementation monitoring and noise measurements for the portfolio of onshore wind farms, consisting of 4 assets.

We have established wide cooperation with confidential nordic renewables Client.

Framework agreement covers:
– environmental and social due diligence with ESAP drafting (project finance, FID)
– GAP’s Analysis and suplemental studies (e.g. NTS, SEP, LRP, ESMP, etc.)
– environmental / permitting due diligence with “red flags” and recommendations (M&A)
– preliminary site assessment (micrositing, initial layout design)
– environmental impact assessment

Above scope of Ambiens involvement relates to wind energy, photovoltaics, RES projects, energy storage facilities.

Last weekend, October 27-29, 2023, we had the opportunity to participate in the XXX National Chiropterological Conference taking place at the Forest Educational Center in Jedlnia-Letnisko – near Kozienice Landscape Park.

The conference focused on the achievements of Polish chiropterologists for the research and protection of domestic bat species.
