Ambiens started cooperation with Mining Design Bureau PANGAZ in the field of environmental consultancy for the southern section of the Gas Interconnection Poland-Lithuania (GIPL), a part of the transmission infrastructure of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. Ambiens will perform a coordinating role for a team responsible for environmental impact assessments up to the moment environmental decision is obtained. The planned part of the gas pipeline will be approximately 153 km long and 700 mm in diameter, and will be located in 18 communes in two provinces (Podlasie and Masovia). The total length of the Polish section of GIPL is about 338 km, while on the Lithuanian side about 177 km.
