An amazing milestone for the most advanced offshore wind project in Poland and a special moment for Baltic wind energy. Baltic Power announces loan agreements and discloses financing. We are excited and proud to have had the opportunity to be part of this process and to contribute as Ambiens.
Congratulations and thanks to the combined Teams Orlen, Northland Power, representatives of the 25 lenders (including EIB, EBRD, EDC, EIFO and Euler Hermes) and other consultants, with whom we have had the pleasure of working in recent months. The Ambiens Team led by Paulina Brzeska-Roszczyk, as independent advisor autonomously carried out and delivered “environmental and social due diligence” and drafted ESAP – a set of follow-up actions addressing the requirements of all stakeholders. At the same time, we acted as an advisor and were responsible for the timely closure of the required issues in this regard.
This is the first offshore wind investment of this scale in the region involving such a broad consortium of national and international financial institutions. This makes the Baltic Sea stand out even more strongly on the global offshore map. We are proud to participate in this pioneering milestone as AMBIENS – concludes Michał Kaczerowski.
